About Beyond the Silk Road
Beyond the Silk Road is a documentary project centred on Kyrgyzstan, exploring the country’s culture, landscapes, history and contemporary life. The premiere took place in Leicester Square, London on 25th February, with Alexandra Tolstaya, Clarke Peters and Dominic West presenting the film to the audience.
A Blink Films production, directed by Sean McDonnell, produced by Claire Bugden, and executive produced by Laura Jones, Justine Kershaw and Alexandra Tolstoy, Beyond the Silk Road is a feature documentary following Dominic West and Clarke Peters on a journey through Kyrgyzstan along the Silk Road, with the documentary available as a 90-minute feature and as a two-part series.
